LB has been at my mom and dads since Friday and I have been going crazy with organizing and cleaning random stuff while Viv naps. Idk if it’s the dopamine from finally being able to accomplish ANYTHING in peace or some kind of hormonal response but i love it 😂

So far:

– cleaned out and organized kitchen cabinets

– cleaned out fridge

– helped install our home security system (by help I mean hubby did it then I made him relocate the keypad 😂)

– sorted through a bunch of paperwork

– painted around thermostats and home security keypad

Kinda bummed at the paint. I cut off a sample to have it matched at lows but it’s clearly a shade or so too dark. I have a lighter beige that I mistakenly used before – maybe I’ll mix a little in and see if I can get a better match. But still way better than it being white!

oh and if you’re wondering – i LOVE the ring security system. So easy to install and makes me feel a lot safer. We got this kit and added some pieces for all our doors. We also have a ring doorbell on the way and will probably add cameras too.

Anyone else done some nesting during postpartum?
